Results & Destinations
As a non-selective college offering a wide range of subjects to students of differing abilities, °®¶¹´«Ã½ Cambridge is justifiably proud of the results and destinations that our students achieve.
Our A level and GCSE exam results are shown in this section. Building on the successes of previous years, our 2022 A Level results show another outstanding year for the college in which:
- 36% of A level entries were graded A*/A
- 64% at A*-B
- A*/A is the most common result across all entries
We congratulate all the students and staff who contributed to another excellent year in 2022. Our 2022 A level leavers pursued a range of courses, including two-year courses, one-year courses and retakes. A significant number transferred to °®¶¹´«Ã½ at the end of Year 12. All of them benefited from the small class sizes, regular examination practice and Personal Tutor system that are some of the key features of °®¶¹´«Ã½.
We are perhaps known best of all for our “value added” results at A level, that is the progress that our A level students make relative to their GCSE results.
We honour our highest-achieving students from the prior year at a Certificates and Awards Evening each December. Many of our GCSE students return to °®¶¹´«Ã½ to begin A level courses. The overwhelming majority of our A level leavers proceed to university to pursue a variety of subjects including Architecture, Dentistry, Law, Medicine, Psychology and Veterinary Science.
